Installer

Per-user · no admin rights needed

This installer is not code-signed yet. Windows SmartScreen will warn you and you will need to choose “More info” then “Run anyway”. It also cannot update itself — on Windows, come back here for new versions until our certificate is issued.

After you install

The app is a courier with an execution engine — it holds no source of truth, so it needs an account and a repository before it can do anything.

  1. 01

Sign in. The app opens your browser and hands the session back. You will need an organization — create one at app.bulbqa.com if your team does not have one yet.

  2. 02

Open your repository. Point the app at the checkout you test against. It stays on your machine; we never read it.

  3. 03

Bind it to your project. The app recognises the repository by its git remote. Nothing is added to your codebase — you bind it once, on the web, and everyone on the team is set up.

Updates

On macOS and Linux the app checks for updates on its own and installs them in the background, so you should only need this page once. On Windows it does not — see the note on that card.

While we are in early release, macOS builds are not yet notarized, so macOS will warn you the first time you open the app and you will need to right-click and choose Open. We are completing Apple Developer certification and that step will disappear. We would rather tell you than let you find out.
